Kristen L. Stone
Kristen L. Stone is an attorney with the Law Office of Georgia T. Newman. Ms. Stone began her career in Michigan, where her practice focused on estate and trust matters. After relocating to Florida, Ms. Stone joined the Law Office of Georgia T. Newman in 2011 and focuses her practice on marital and family law.
Ms. Stone is a member of the prestigious Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court where she served as a pupilage group leader. Ms. Stone is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association Family Law Section, Palm Beach County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, and Florida Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Stone graduated in the top 7% of her class at Michigan State University College of Law. During her time in law school, Ms. Stone served on the Editorial Board as a Notes Editor of the Law Review. Ms. Stone was a Merit Scholar and received the Jurisprudence Achievement Award in Constitutional Law. While on Law Review, Ms. Stone wrote regarding family law issues. Ms. Stone was selected as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge David McKeague of the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge G. Patrick Hillary and Judge Nanaruth Carpenter of the 17th Circuit Court Family Division in Michigan.
Ms. Stone attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate degree, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy.
Ms. Stone is licensed to practice law in Michigan as well as Florida.
